Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding product features, benefits, and availability
• Engage with consumers to understand their needs and make compelling product recommendations
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety
• Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations
• Perform all required cash register transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program enrollment
• Contribute to store profitability by accurately receiving, handling, and replenishing product flow
• Perform designated keyholder duties as needed, including opening and closing the store

Requirements

• 2 years or less of experience in a retail or similar position
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
