Sales Associate - Color & Curl Concierge

Responsibilities

• Determine customer color and care related needs and offer professional advice and recommendations
• Communicate upward and cross-functionally regarding sales progress, orders, and customer follow-up
• Resolve customer concerns and questions in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain high standards of color and curl merchandising, placement, and store signage
• Stay informed regarding emerging beauty trends and market changes
• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits
• Drive the color and curl business through product education and consulting services

Requirements

• One year of retail or sales-focused experience
• Licensed cosmetologist highly preferred
• Reliable transportation for servicing designated store and market
• Ability to travel to shows or sales meetings at least 3 times per year
• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret sales reporting
• Proficiency with POS applications, computers, iPads, and social media platforms
• Ability to pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of inventory control systems and visual merchandising
• Experience in professional beauty salon or spa environments
