Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Help guests design their homes by presenting various home furnishings and service options
• Build personal connections and guide customers through the entire sales process
• Assist guests in finding the best financing options and convert interactions into successful sales
• Create invoices, schedule deliveries, and manage customer accounts through prospecting
• Maintain showroom neatness to ensure a welcoming customer experience
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Navigate large showrooms and remain on your feet for the duration of your shift

Requirements

• High-School Degree or GED equivalent
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour-per-week schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (showrooms can be very large)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Ability to use an iPad for training, transactions, and inventory checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing experience
• Strong relationship management and influence skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated drive to grow a personal customer base
