Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including cleaning, processing merchandise, and setting up visually appealing displays
• Provide comprehensive donor support by receiving donations, unloading items, and issuing receipts
• Deliver exceptional customer service through friendly greetings, assisting with floor navigation, and managing point-of-sale transactions
• Assist with the execution of strategic initiatives, loyalty programs, and promotional events to meet revenue goals
• Support the Store Manager with social media content creation and marketing campaigns
• Communicate the mission of the American Cancer Society and available community services to customers and donors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years of prior retail or service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college coursework in business, mathematics, or economics
• Previous leadership experience (e.g., key holder or team lead)
• Valid driver’s license
