Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve department sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
• Actively seek out customers and provide personalized styling advice
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases and handle merchandise returns
• Cross-sell products to drive business success
• Team up with co-workers to ensure seamless customer service
• Stock and process shipments as needed

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or similar role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English and solid communication skills
• Basic math skills and hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• A friendly, energetic personality with a focus on building customer trust
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds and use ladders or stairs
