Sales Assistant Dry Food

Responsibilities

• Serve as a direct contact and advisor for customers regarding dry food products including snacks, grains, canned goods, beverages, and tableware
• Provide professional customer service and advice to gastronomy and wholesale clients
• Manage stock replenishment to ensure well-stocked and organized shelves
• Present goods attractively and implement promotional measures
• Ensure quality assurance by monitoring legal and regulatory standards such as HACCP and expiration dates

Requirements

• Ideally completed vocational training in retail or gastronomy (e.g., Chef, Restaurant Specialist, Wholesale or Retail Merchant)
• Open to career changers (Quereinsteiger) who are willing to undergo training
• Previous experience in the food retail sector is a plus
• Strong customer orientation and passion for retail
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
