Sales and Service Banker

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their financial needs and providing tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Identify opportunities to grow banking relationships through proactive branch activities, including calls, account support, and partner referrals.
• Perform teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage cash handling duties and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Educate customers on digital banking platforms and self-service tools to enhance their banking experience.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies to defend against fraud and manage risk.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch sales targets and contribute to overall performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months of experience in sales of products or services, OR 6+ months of experience in retail banking sales or consultative relationship sales.
• 6+ months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• 6+ months of cash handling experience.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and technology.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work branch hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Proven track record of cross-selling products and services.
