About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their financial needs and providing tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
- Identify opportunities to grow banking relationships through branch activities, including calls, account support, and partner referrals.
- Perform teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances while assisting with audits and operational tasks.
- Educate customers on digital banking platforms and self-service options to enhance their experience.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies regarding risk and fraud defense.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch sales targets and drive overall performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 12+ months of experience selling products and/or services OR 6+ months of experience in retail banking sales or consultative relationship sales.
- 6+ months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- 6+ months of cash handling experience.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology.
- Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work branch hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Proven track record in cross-selling products and services.
