About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the inbound venue hire sales cycle, including enquiries, proposals, and contract management.
- Coordinate the seamless delivery of events through client liaison, site inspections, and logistics planning.
- Develop and monitor financial processes, including accurate invoicing, payment tracking, and revenue reporting.
- Maintain precise records of bookings and client data using the Elite event and space management system.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Support marketing and business development through networking, tradeshows, and updating client-facing materials.
Requirements
- Demonstrated sales experience in events, venue hire, or GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) organisations.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver events within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience managing financial administration, including invoicing and payment reconciliation.
- Proficiency with CRM or event management systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle competing deadlines.
- Ability to hold a valid Working with Children Check (the University will provide guidance and reimbursement if successful).
