Responsibilities
- Deliver sales strategies including diary management and business development
- Identify new events, opportunities, and markets
- Record data via CRM software and monitor KPIs
- Negotiate contracts to meet conversion targets
- Conduct site visits with clients and identify upselling opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver evidence-based strategies
- Manage event invoicing, debt management, and financial reconciliation
- Work with operations to ensure compliance with group policies
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering sales targets for complex venues
- At least 2 years of experience in event venue sales or similar
- Demonstrable commerciality and experience in sales negotiations
- Knowledge of the local venue market and venue finding agents
- Ability to manage multiple venue projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Mac, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM software
- Experience with Event Works or similar diary management software
