Sales and Design Consultant

Responsibilities

• Set the industry standard for customer experience and sales in a retail showroom environment
• Drive sales through proactive customer follow-up and outreach
• Deliver exceptional design and product expertise, advising on floor plans, materials, and custom rug measurements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and on-brand showroom
• Provide personalized, high-quality service across in-person, chat, text, email, video, and phone channels
• Resolve order-related inquiries including tracking, product questions, and delivery logistics
• Learn and apply innovative visualization technologies such as CAD modeling, Adobe, and 3D rendering
• Maintain feedback loops to continuously improve internal processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a consumer-facing role
• 2+ years of direct consumer sales and/or account management experience
• Passion for interior design and home décor with knowledge of current trends
• Excellent communication, empathy, and trust-building skills
• Solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment, business sense, and high integrity
• High proficiency with online software tools, 2D/3D applications, Zoom, and Google Suite
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and accountability
• Ability to establish and improve processes and feedback loops
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design tools and spatial planning
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in a creative field such as interior design, art history, or architecture
