Sales and Design Consultant

Responsibilities

• Educate and advise customers on rug selection, materials, and spatial planning
• Drive sales through follow-up, outreach, and relationship building
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences across in-person, chat, text, email, video, and phone
• Maintain a clean, organized, and on-brand showroom environment
• Resolve order-related matters including tracking, delivery logistics, and product inquiries
• Learn and use visualization technologies such as CAD modeling and 3D rendering
• Establish feedback loops to improve internal processes and customer experience

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a consumer-facing role
• 2+ years of direct consumer sales or account management experience
• Passion for interior design and home décor with knowledge of current trends
• High proficiency with online software tools, 2D/3D tools, Zoom, and Google Suite
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and accountability
• Solutions-oriented mindset with sound judgment and high integrity
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays in the Fairfax, VA showroom

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design tools and spatial planning
• BA or background in interior design, art history, architecture, or a creative field
