About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute account strategies to drive sustainable growth across assigned automotive Tier 1 customers
  • Maintain regular engagement with engineering, purchasing, and program management teams
  • Manage long-term automotive programs across design-in, SOP, production, and lifecycle phases
  • Identify and qualify new design-in and socket opportunities aligned to customer vehicle platforms
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, and revenue forecasting
  • Participate in OEM and Tier 1 BOM teardown analysis to understand ECU and system-level architectures
  • Collaborate with FAEs, product marketing, and engineering teams to align product positioning with customer requirements
  • Support automotive RFQs, pricing reviews, and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs)
  • Partner with Supply Chain & Operations on demand planning and program continuity

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of semiconductor sales experience supporting automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EE preferred), Business, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of automotive ECUs and network architectures (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with semiconductor product categories such as MCUs, SoCs, analog, power, and sensors
  • Proven negotiation skills with both external customers and internal cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to read and interpret Tier 1 BOMs, system diagrams, and teardown analyses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to automotive domains including ADAS, Body & Chassis, Infotainment, or EV/Powertrain electronics
  • Experience in positioning and selling software products
  • Familiarity with automotive sourcing processes, RFQs, and functional safety concepts (ISO 26262)
  • Knowledge of PPAP, SOP, and long-term automotive product lifecycles
