About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a book of ~120-150 customers
- Drive revenue by identifying expansion opportunities and negotiating pricing terms
- Understand customer workflows, accounting processes, and financial priorities
- Build relationships with stakeholders ranging from Controllers to CFOs
- Work cross-functionally with Risk, Underwriting, Legal, and Deal Desk
- Maintain operational excellence through CRM hygiene, forecasting, and documentation
- Lead quarterly business reviews to help customers maximize ROI
- Advocate for customers internally to influence product direction
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer-facing account management or book of business ownership
- Hands-on experience with financial technology ecosystems (ERPs, spend management, or AP automation)
- Experience managing high volumes of customers across the lifecycle
- Strong business acumen with a finance-first mindset
- Ability to analyze product usage data and trends
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a rapidly expanding startup
- Knowledge of credit card management, limits, rewards, and underwriting
- Background in corporate accounting or financial systems
- Proficiency with sales tools like Gong and Salesforce
- Series 7 license
