About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and profit goals
- Develop and implement sales strategies for new markets and applications
- Collaborate with Sales/BD Managers and Technical Account Managers to secure business
- Share market knowledge and customer feedback with management and marketing teams
- Document all sales activities via CRM system
- Introduce GenScript to industrial, academic, and government institutions
- Drive business expansion in collaboration with the technical support team
- Build a business reference network and work through channel partners
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Biology or Life Science discipline
- At least 1 year of hands-on lab experience preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of Biological and CRO markets (Gene Synthesis, Protein, Peptide, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to travel overnight up to 30%
- Ability to accurately forecast sales within the territory
