Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relations and the sales pipeline to drive growth in identified market segments
• Apply commercial acumen to negotiate and close deals while ensuring profit margins
• Grow market share by leveraging the existing customer base and identifying new opportunities
• Maintain an up-to-date CRM with all existing and new opportunities
• Manage customer debtors and credit limits in accordance with the prescribed framework
• Utilize knowledge of retail and merchandise value chains to drive business activity
• Engage and manage cross-functional stakeholders and external service providers

Requirements

• Proven experience as a relationship manager, in sales, or a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to undertake intra-state travel as required
• A proactive approach to business development
