About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical accounts.
- Apply consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs and deliver tailored chemistry solutions.
- Manage complex sales cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and ensure CRM data integrity.
- Travel extensively (up to 80-100%) to cover Gujarat and parts of Madhya Pradesh for customer engagement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.
- Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience using a consultative approach.
- Proven track record of managing large strategic accounts within the pharma or biopharma industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemistry solutions and life sciences applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows.
