About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers across Japan
  • Manage renewal business and generate new business for assigned accounts to achieve revenue targets
  • Create and conduct impactful sales presentations communicating the value of Synopsys and Ansys engineering simulation solutions
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and customer executives to identify business champions
  • Coordinate sales efforts with internal teams including marketing, technical services, legal, and accounting
  • Develop effective written proposals, quotations, and account plans to address customer needs
  • Maintain detailed sales data and track progress using Salesforce CRM
  • Research new customer groups and leverage industry events to enhance business opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business field, or 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven success in technical sales roles, ideally within the engineering or software sectors
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce
  • Basic understanding of engineering analysis and simulation technology
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex contracts
