About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for engineering simulation solutions across an assigned territory in North China, from prospecting to closing.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with engineering leaders, R&D managers, and C-level executives at key accounts.
  • Develop strategic account plans that include customer profiles, competitive landscapes, and multi-year growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with marketing, technical presales, legal, and support teams to deliver tailored proposals and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Deliver accurate pipeline forecasts and maintain high-quality opportunity data within the CRM.
  • Represent Synopsys at trade shows, technical seminars, and customer events to expand market presence.
  • Partner with channel partners to drive joint sales efforts and extend reach within the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field with 4+ years of technical sales experience (or 8+ years of technical sales experience without a degree).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex, enterprise-level technical sales environments.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to conduct high-level business negotiations and presentations in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of engineering analysis, simulation, or product development workflows.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting.
