About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the commercial relationship with Samsung Electronics across LSI and Memory divisions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and close
  • Build and maintain executive and technical relationships within Samsung design, engineering, and procurement teams
  • Drive quarterly forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning
  • Coordinate with field application engineers and product specialists to align EDA and IP solutions with customer requirements
  • Lead renewals, expansions, and upsell opportunities across existing tool deployments
  • Negotiate enterprise licensing agreements and commercial structures

Requirements

  • 15+ years of field sales experience in the EDA industry
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor design flows, methodologies, and technical challenges
  • Existing relationships within Samsung Electronics or proven ability to build executive relationships quickly
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder enterprise negotiations
  • Strong commercial acumen regarding procurement, legal, and technical buyer dynamics
  • Fluency in both Korean and English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience selling Synopsys EDA tools or IP portfolios
