About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage client accounts and business opportunities for the Built Environment Testing Division
- Travel throughout the New England region to meet with clients (approximately 50% travel)
- Maximize market share, profitability, and capacity utilization in the environmental analytical services market
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with Eurofins clients
- Develop and qualify leads to increase revenue through cold calling and relationship cultivation
- Communicate customer needs to internal management, operations, and technical staff
- Provide sales plan forecasts and monitor accounts receivable status
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and Master Service Agreements
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a service industry
- Knowledge of the environmental industry (IAQ, USP797, or Legionella testing preferred)
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% throughout the New England territory
- Valid driver's license
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Sciences or a related field
- Experience in laboratory functions and terminology
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment
