Responsibilities

• Perform safe and professional loading and unloading of cargo ships
• Work closely with ship captains to support material transport via cargo vessels
• Execute service and maintenance work on transport ships and at the plant
• Conduct maintenance tasks at loading and unloading stations
• Operate loading and unloading machinery with high responsibility and care

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a nautical specialist
• Experience working with cargo ships on inland waterways
• Strong knowledge of ship loading, unloading, and maintenance procedures
• Proficiency in written and spoken German
• Willingness to undergo further training to become a ship captain (Schiffsführer:in)
• Knowledge of gravel production is an advantage
