About the role

Responsibilities

  • Administer the teammate onboarding training program and perform regular audits of training programs
  • Assign and schedule required training sessions for both new and existing teammates
  • Communicate and emphasize safety initiatives and messages during teammate meetings
  • Maintain all training records required for regulatory compliance and internal mandatory classes
  • Act as a key resource for individuals and groups to improve facility performance and standards
  • Assist warehouse staff with order picking and inbound/outbound work when not performing safety or training duties

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience conducting safety and operational training for material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Proven ability to onboard new employees and deliver structured training programs aligned with SOPs and safety regulations
  • Experience evaluating trainee performance, performing training audits, and maintaining accurate compliance records
  • Open availability to work 1st and 2nd shifts, including some weekends as needed
