About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of health and safety systems on site
- Assist with safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Participate in site safety walks, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
- Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems
- Support compliance with legislative and project safety requirements
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project team
- Learn key WHS processes within a live construction environment
Requirements
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or NZ Citizen
- No prior completion of a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and an observant nature
- Confident communicator capable of engaging with a diverse workforce
- Motivation to study towards a relevant qualification while working full-time
