Safety Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety inspections on real estate properties to identify risks and non-compliance
• Develop and implement safety protocols specific to the real estate sector
• Provide safety training and education to employees and service providers
• Investigate accidents or incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety initiatives
• Stay updated on the latest safety standards and best practices in the real estate industry

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Technologist degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant experience in safety management, preferably in real estate or construction
• Deep knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to the real estate sector in Brazil
• Proficiency in safety inspection techniques and familiarity with safety equipment and PPE
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and safety management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA or Brazilian safety certifications)
• Ability to analyze complex safety problems and develop effective solutions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to travel to various properties in the Campinas region
