Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure operator activities comply with company safety training processes and safe bus operation requirements
• Respond to vehicle accidents and incidents, providing on-scene support and completing required documentation
• Coordinate communication with internal departments and third-party insurance vendors regarding incidents
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to operators to promote high morale and excellence in customer service
• Monitor on-time performance and evaluate driver personnel performance on a regular basis
• Prepare and submit required reports to vendors, agencies, and internal teams in a timely manner
• Supervise compliance with company policies and discuss any breaches with Safety and Operations teams

Requirements

• Must have open availability and a flexible schedule
• Proficiency with Google applications, specifically intermediate to advanced Google Sheets skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, preferably with 3 years in the transit industry
• Experience in public or private alternative transportation demand management (TDM)
• Knowledge of DMV policies and procedures
