Safety & Security Associate

Responsibilities

• Secure premises by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment and access points
• Respond to fire, medical, or environmental emergencies
• Investigate security breaches, incidents, and alarming behavior
• Process visitors and greet guests to campus
• Enforce the parking program for Vermont campus locations
• Prepare draft reports by recording observations and surveillance activities
• Monitor building environment and report irregularities to supervisors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to achieve within 3 months)
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for up to 4 hours
• Ability to respond to Vermont campus in under 1 hour when on call

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in physical security, law enforcement, or emergency management
• Knowledge of security electronics and technology
