Safety Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the data center safety management program at sites
• Lead the creation and execution of the annual safety strategy and KPIs
• Conduct and coordinate risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and job hazard analyses
• Own and improve the permit-to-work system, including LOTO and change management
• Plan and carry out regular site inspections and audits
• Establish and manage incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis processes
• Analyze safety performance data and prepare dashboards
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors
• Coach team members to embed safe systems of work without impacting uptime
• Lead safety committees, toolbox talks, and behavioral safety initiatives
• Ensure readiness for client, corporate, and regulatory audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or equivalent
• Recognized health and safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CMIOSH/GradIOSH)
• 4–7+ years of experience in HSE/safety management
• Experience in data centers, critical facilities, or high-risk industrial environments
• Proven track record in incident investigations and site audits
• Deep understanding of electrical safety, working at height, and confined spaces
