About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage an effective contractor safety program to foster a "Journey to Zero" safety culture.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop hazard control designs, methods, and procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Lead risk assessment reviews and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct safety training classes including LOTO, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, and mobile elevated work platforms.
  • Drive timely completion of investigations and corrective actions for incidents, near-misses, and compliance inspections.
  • Develop EHS strategies and improvement plans to drive continuous risk reduction and cultural improvements.
  • Maintain all records in compliance with internal, local, state, and federal EHS laws and regulations.
  • Partner with corporate EHS to ensure strategic alignment and communicate operational perspectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety performing similar tasks.
  • Strong familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines.
  • Extensive working knowledge of state and federal laws, including EPA and DOT regulations.
  • Experience designing programs to control, eliminate, and prevent injuries, illnesses, and environmental incidents.
  • Working knowledge of OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility.
  • Experience dealing directly with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials, related regulations, and NIOSH standards.
