Safety Partner

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement health and safety governance frameworks across major capital projects
• Ensure compliance with construction legislation and BlueScope safety standards
• Lead and support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Conduct site audits, safety inspections, and field-based assurance activities
• Facilitate safety meetings and drive proactive safety engagement with teams
• Engage with external regulators and governance bodies as required
• Utilize systems such as MARS and Aconex for project safety management

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in construction safety (essential)
• Strong understanding of project-based HSE governance
• Proven experience working on large-scale capital projects
• Ability to influence contractors and various project stakeholders
• Confidence in leading investigations and engaging with external authorities
• Ability to balance on-site presence with governance and office-based tasks
