Safety Operations Specialist 1

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and process safety data and pharmacovigilance information in compliance with global regulatory standards and SOPs
• Perform pharmacovigilance activities including collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AE) and endpoint information
• Execute database entry, coding of AEs and products, and writing medical narratives
• Ensure high quality and productivity standards are met according to project requirements
• Liaise with functional team members, healthcare professionals, and clients to address project-related issues
• Maintain and track cases according to project plans and ensure all required training is completed and documented
• Identify quality problems and escalate them to senior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or up to 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Working knowledge of safety databases and internal/client applications
• Understanding of global, regional, and local clinical research regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
