Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and execute company-wide and project-specific safety programs
• Enforce company safety standards and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct employee training and develop safe work plans for all project phases
• Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analyses
• Manage hazard assessment activities through safety inspections and data analysis
• Create and implement safety incentive programs
• Develop site-specific emergency evacuation plans and ERPs
• Inspect safety equipment and recommend replacements
• Build productive working relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience
• Experience overseeing large commercial or industrial projects
• BCSP credentials (STS-C or CHST preferred)
• Ability to obtain OSHA 500 and First Aid certification within the first month
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety compliance software (e.g., Hammertech)
• Ability to work at elevations exceeding 30 feet
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
• Willingness to travel to multiple project locations
• Must be open to being stationed at a specific job site for a 24-month project lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with Smartsheet
