Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company-wide safety program and safety committee
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Develop and implement project-specific safety plans for residential and commercial operations
• Conduct regular job site and facility inspections and enforce corrective actions
• Deliver new hire orientation and ongoing safety training to field leadership
• Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Lead incident, injury, and property damage investigations
• Oversee Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task planning
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and OSHA recordkeeping
• Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability
• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 certification
• CHST, CSP, or similar safety certification
• Formal education or certification in Safety or Risk Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of construction methods and equipment hazards
