Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs at the project level for complex industrial construction projects
• Conduct project site audits to review records, permits, field conditions, and safe work practices
• Ensure corporate safety programs, standards, and policies are executed effectively across projects
• Lead safety business plan efforts for the district and prepare monthly reports
• Mentor and identify development needs for Project Safety employees
• Collaborate with Construction Management teams and safety professionals across the organization
• Manage incident data and ensure proper root cause analysis and investigation protocols are followed

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience managing construction projects in an environmental health and safety area, specifically within industrial projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related safety discipline
• Strong knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, and injury management
• Ability to travel and relocate to various project sites as needed
• Demonstrated ability to manage safety programs for projects of increasing complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
• CPR/First Aid or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
• OSHA/MSHA instructor certifications
