Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and procedures specific to power generation projects
• Ensure safety protocols align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and assess safety risks
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors
• Lead investigations into safety incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine root causes
• Implement corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence and ensure timely reporting
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure safety performance
• Provide accurate safety reports to project management and senior leadership

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial, or equivalent degree/work experience
• 3+ years of experience in Heavy Industrial and/or Solar projects
• Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal/OSHA requirements
• Proficiency with standard office computer software
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to perform duties in varying work environments, including different weather conditions and terrain
