Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate safety programs across designated company sites
• Lead accident and near-miss investigations, conducting root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and vehicle inspections to ensure CMV safety compliance
• Supervise and support Safety Specialists and other safety staff
• Provide safety training to employees regarding company policies, regulations, and procedures
• Maintain accurate safety records, incident documentation, and inspection logs
• Advise leadership on EHS compliance related to projects, operations, and facilities
• Monitor and control biological, physical, or chemical hazards in the workplace
• Maintain liaisons with emergency response organizations such as fire departments and rescue teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional safety experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between facilities
• Strong understanding of OSHA and other federal, state, and local regulatory standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• OSHA 3-hour certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• HAZWOPER or other relevant safety certifications
