About the role
Responsibilities
- Assign, equip, motivate, and monitor the daily work of 10-20 employees per shift
- Lead operations including homeless outreach, hospitality, cleaning, logistics, and safety functions
- Ensure compliance with all policies regarding safety, customer service, and professional image
- Execute work requests and provide consistent reporting of personnel activities
- Conduct roll calls, inspections, and training for new employees
- Evaluate employee performance and conduct quality control tours on foot, bicycle, or in vehicles
- Respond to emergency situations and coordinate service for special events
- Liaison with property managers and BID members to address concerns
Requirements
- Prior experience supervising hourly public contact or service employees
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive company vehicles
- Physical stamina to perform duties outdoors 8-10 hours daily in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Strong verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience
- Five years of experience in law enforcement, security, tourism, or hospitality
- Bilingual skills
