Safety & Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assign, equip, motivate, and monitor the daily work of 10-20 employees per shift
• Lead operations including homeless outreach, hospitality, cleaning, logistics, and safety functions
• Ensure compliance with all policies regarding safety, customer service, and professional image
• Execute work requests and provide consistent reporting of personnel activities
• Conduct roll calls, inspections, and training for new employees
• Evaluate employee performance and conduct quality control tours on foot, bicycle, or in vehicles
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate service for special events
• Liaison with property managers and BID members to address concerns

Requirements

• Prior experience supervising hourly public contact or service employees
• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive company vehicles
• Physical stamina to perform duties outdoors 8-10 hours daily in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Strong verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum three years of supervisory experience
• Five years of experience in law enforcement, security, tourism, or hospitality
• Bilingual skills
