Safety Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify safety hazards
• Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory standards
• Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses
• Support safety training initiatives and educate employees on safe work practices
• Maintain accurate safety records, inspection logs, and incident documentation
• Collaborate with management to improve overall safety performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in safety inspection, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments preferred
• Working knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices
• Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to walk, stand, and inspect work areas for extended periods
• Willingness to work in industrial environments and use required PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or industrial technology
• OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Certification
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential
