Safety, Health & Environment Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and environmental management systems.
• Ensure compliance with Group OHS policies and local legal requirements.
• Implement and improve proactive and preventive safety tools and training programs.
• Drive Safety, Health, and Environment key performance indicators (KPIs) within the factory.
• Manage significant risks and environmental aspects to ensure they are kept at acceptable levels.
• Plan and execute third-party audits for ISO 14001 and legal compliance.
• Coordinate with local government agencies (e.g., SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, SSA) and manage digital reporting platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• 5 years of experience in an OHS or SHE role within a factory environment.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Proven experience with ISO 14001 standards, waste management, and water treatment plant operations.
• Strong understanding of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodology.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for employee training and external audits.
