Responsibilities
- Lead project-level safety coordination and serve as the primary office-side safety contact
- Review and hold subcontractors accountable for safety deliverables, including safety plans, JHAs, and crane plans
- Lead safety meetings, including kickoffs, safety committee meetings, and worker feedback sessions
- Coordinate and manage onsite safety training and safety incentive initiatives
- Conduct accident investigations and support ELTs
- Track safety metrics, observations, incidents, and lessons learned
- Review crane plans and support engineered lift planning
- Support campus-wide safety events
- Provide overall office support to Holder field safety professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management/EHS or a related field OR 3+ years of equivalent safety experience
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, and safety standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a general contractor
- Professional safety certifications (e.g., GSP, CHST, CSP)
- Experience leading safety meetings and investigations
