Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assess products against national, regional, and international safety standards
• Prepare technical reports, technical files, and certificates
• Develop test plans and collaborate with test engineers to ensure safe and correct testing
• Conduct testing occasionally in Eurofins laboratories or at customer sites
• Provide technical advice during client meetings
• Assist with the preparation of quotations in partnership with the sales team
• Perform occasional domestic or international travel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent experience at an NRTL
• Experience with safety standards including UL/CSA/IEC 62368-1, 61010-1, and 60335-1
• Proven safety experience from an NRTL, test laboratory, or manufacturer
• Ability to perform basic safety testing and set up test equipment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and management
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
