Safety Enablement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Enable efficient and standardized safety workflows across cross-functional teams
• Design, implement, and continuously improve methodologies, processes, and toolchains for safety engineering
• Develop automation solutions using scripting and APIs to improve productivity and reduce manual effort
• Ensure interoperability and integration between various engineering tools and platforms
• Leverage AI-based approaches to enhance efficiency and data usage
• Build automated reports and dashboards for status tracking and project transparency
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation by consolidating insights from multiple internal systems
• Support teams in adopting improved workflows and tools as a technical advisor

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or a related high-tech industry
• Strong expertise in tooling, automation, and engineering workflows
• Proficiency in scripting and software development, specifically Python or Java
• Proven experience with engineering tools including Jira and Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Experience with requirements management tools (ELM), system modeling tools, and safety analysis tools
• Solid understanding of configuration management environments
• Ability to work as both a hands-on developer and a high-level architect

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI tools or automation platforms such as Copilot, Power BI, or Power Automate
• Background working within functional safety environments
