Safety Database Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement routine system configurations including product, study, and license in Argus and Argus J
• Resolve safety database-related issues and support system changes
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for safety system updates
• Assist with creating reports using the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) tool
• Generate outputs from the global safety system to support periodic safety reports (e.g., DSUR, PSUR, and PBRER)
• Assist in Argus Database training for new users
• Support the development of system support processes, SOPs, work instructions, and manuals
• Support inspection and audit activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline, Business Informatics, or a similar area
• 1-2 years of directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience within the CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with safety database systems, specifically Argus and Argus J
• Experience with study configurations in safety systems
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with reporting and analytic platforms such as OBIEE
• Strong consultative problem-solving skills and client service orientation
