Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Administer compliance with the safety program and lead accident prevention efforts
• Conduct site inspections of project work areas and equipment
• Develop, organize, and implement safety related programs
• Assist in accident investigations and determine root causes
• Perform and document jobsite inspections and audits focusing on hazard recognition
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and training programs
• Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations
• Carry out tasks assigned by the Area Safety Manager or Area Project Manager

Requirements

• OSHA 510, 500, CSHO, or BCSP Certification or completed college degree
• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Local to Taylor, TX
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb multiple flights of stairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish/English bilingual
• CSHO or BCSP certification
