Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Perform root cause analysis and other safety assessments to support HSE management
• Maintain HSE logs and documentation in compliance with company procedures and laws
• Prepare safety reports and provide advice on HSE issues to facility management
• Administer and train on HSE programs including LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, and Respiratory Protection
• Model a safe culture and proactively work with leaders to promote a Safety-First environment

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• More than five years of related experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences
• Two years of experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position
• Technical writing experience
