Safety Clerk

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce plant safety protocols with a 50/50 split between plant and office presence
• Coordinate, conduct, and track employee training requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies
• Collaborate with plant employees to share safety best practices, provide guidance, and inspect equipment
• Complete and review injury reports, assist with investigations, and provide safety insights to plant leadership
• Test workplaces for environmental hazards, including radiation, chemical, biological, or excessive noise exposure

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external engagement
• Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX with flexible hours (M–F 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Availability for on-call duties

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
• Field experience in a similar safety role
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
