Safety Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and coordinating safety programs
• Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and report violations
• Conduct periodic surveys and inspections of facilities and equipment
• Identify and mitigate potentially hazardous conditions to maintain a safe workplace
• Ensure quality and completeness of work in a safe and timely manner

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship (required to obtain NASA badge)
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to provide certified citizenship documentation upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of NASA sites
• Experience working on government installations
