Safety Advisor

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of safe and compliant project outcomes for the Coomera Connector Stage 1 South project
• Mentor site teams and promote strong, proactive safety practices
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify improvement opportunities
• Provide practical safety advice to project teams and assist with the development of safety plans
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, and industry standards
• Foster a transparent and proactive safety culture on site

Requirements

• Relevant WHS qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the civil or construction industry
• Experience in incident investigations (ICAM) and internal auditing
• Current Driver’s Licence and access to own transport
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with site teams, management, and clients
