Safety Advisor

Responsibilities

• Shape and monitor the health and safety policy for Renault Truck Centers to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Support the welfare policy and contribute to the Global Prevention Plan and Annual Action Plan.
• Conduct risk analyses in various environments, including workshops, warehouses, and technical installations.
• Investigate occupational accidents and incidents, performing analyses and translating them into concrete improvement actions.
• Organize safety walkthroughs and ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards.
• Lead training and awareness sessions to increase safety consciousness on the shop floor.
• Advise on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and oversee the inspection of work equipment and installations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners and represent the organization during inspections and audits.

Requirements

• Possession of the Preventieadviseur niveau 2 (Safety Advisor Level 2) certificate.
• Experience in a technical or automotive environment is preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch is required; knowledge of French is a significant plus.
• A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to work effectively on the shop floor.
• Strong coaching and communication skills to influence and guide colleagues at all levels.
• An interest or affinity for environmental care is a plus.
