Safety Advisor (EHS)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client interface for engineering EHS matters
• Define and deliver project EHS objectives, KPIs, and targets
• Integrate site experience into design and assess EHS impacts of changes
• Coordinate construction EHS activities including safe-to-start and pre-start-up safety reviews
• Support contractor selection and ensure quality of EHS study deliverables
• Track progress against EHS delivery plans and provide reporting for gate reviews
• Ensure EHS knowledge transfer to end users during mechanical completion and handovers
• Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering EHS or construction safety
• Experience in client-facing project-based EHS roles
• Familiarity with design integration and pre-start-up safety reviews
• Proficiency in English for communicating with international clients and teams

Preferred Qualifications

• EHS Certificate
